Q: Why did this happen? A: While undergoing routine maintenance this weekend, our team encountered a few issues that impacted our playlist data store.
Q: Why were you performing maintenance? A: It’s all a part of our continuous efforts to improve user experience.
Q: What playlists were impacted? A: Slideshows and Video based playlists through the minority of the playlists within our platform.
Q: Was this a system wide issue? A: No, this was not a system wide issue.
Q: I saw an unfamiliar image on my screen? A: During the planned maintenance event, early on 2/25, our engineering team was working through the patch and caused a few stock and/or default images to possibly appear in playlists.
Q: Was my data shared with other customers? A: No, your data was not shared with any other customers.
Q: Was my data lost? A: No, your data was not lost.
Q: Did you fix the problem? A: Yes, we’ve rolled out additional patches to rectify any and all playlists that we could revive.
Q: Are you doing anything to prevent this from happening in the future? A: Yes, of course! We’ve already started working on several new patches that will continue to reinforce this portion of our platform to minimize any future possibilities of this reoccurring.
